Born in Athens in 1975, married to a lawyer with whom he had two children.
He is the third generation of his family, starting with his grandfather, lawyer Daniel Sam. Alkhanatis, his father Samuel Dan. Alkhanatis, a lawyer, and his mother Lucia Mich. Sakellariou, a Notary.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Alexandros Sam. Alchanatis, is a lawyer in Athens with Reg..No/Athens Bar Association 24858 (at the Supreme Court), with particular expertise in the fields of Civil and Commercial law and in particular in the sectors of real estate, bank credits and companies. He has received accreditation from the Ministry of Justice (Y.D.D.A.D.) as a mediator (Reg.No. 1831), with specialization and accreditation from the Hellenic Financial Ombudsman (Ombudsman -ELKEECHD) on financial disputes (financial instruments mediator) and was a member of the Central Mediation Committee of the Ministry of Justice (2020-2023).
During his studies at the Athens Law School (EKPA), he participated in a special European internship program (EPEAEK) in the legal department of the Commercial Bank of Greece (1998-1999).
As an independent lawyer, he focused on the following issues:
– From 2008 to the present, he has continuously undertaken a multitude of cases concerning (NPL’s & NPE’s) bank loan restructuring cases (business, housing, consumer)
– Participation in bank mediations (Law 4512/2018) as a legal representative (Mediation Advocacy) during the years 2018 and 2019, i.e. the year of substantive implementation of the institution of mediation, with a success rate of 100%, with a total financial object of over €5,000,000.
– From September 1, 2020 to the present, he has undertaken a multitude of cases as a mediator with a success rate of 99%.
– Particular involvement in cases: Real estate in general, (Verification of real estate titles, Representations of Contracts, Mortgages of Real Estate, Land Registry, inheritance, etc.) company formation, Payment Orders, general banking cases [loans (personal, business (S.A.L.), financial leasing of real estate and cars (leasing – lease back), real estate purchases and sales.
– Many years (over 25 years) with specialized experience in the field of real estate, bank loan agreements, real estate purchases and sales (Negotiations, general tax issues, ENFIA, Land Registry, seizures, mortgages, etc.).
